ScintiStar Mammo provides:
- Molecular "hot spot" imaging fused with CT anatomical images.
- Malignant tissues uptake Tc99m Sestamibi and F18 FDG.
- Tc99m Sestamibi updates in the mitochondria of cancer cells which have more mitochondria than normal cells.
- F18 FDG is a glucose analog. It uptakes in cancer cells which have a higher glucose metabolism than normal cells.
- 3D location of tumor(s) within the breast
